I don't believe I've ever brought him up in conversation before but he IS the kind of dude I WOULD talk about. My current renaissance-philosopher crush is for Pico Della Mirandola even though he was a fucktard. I had a dream recently that I was wondering through a library and found a book by him on an otherwise empty shelf.

I'm not really very familiar with him myself, we only kind of touched on his stuff briefly within the context of Boyle and all that assorted crazy.

Only until the failure of the former biomedical paradigms in the context of the syphilis epidemic, which I find lulzy as all hell. Truly, we owe so much to syphilis, even above and beyond the badass wigs.
