From my limited knowledge even I can acknowledge that women don't like a man that cries (except funerals, obviously where you can't help it).

Women like strong men that can offer them protection, fuck them hard, and also insensitive to them because of their love for the dramatic (they enjoy moaning about their situation).

Crying about stuff like films is not a positive attribute. It shows sensitivity and weakness. A man should never appear vulnerable in front of a woman. It's not OB behaviour - you should be discussing how kick ass certain films are like Top Gun, Man On Fire, Die Hard, etc.

Crying is not charismatic nor demonstrate you have the ability to be cold. Women enjoy the idea of picking a cold, selfish guy and seeing them as their little project to convert them into boyfriend material, then get bored as soon as they are pussy whipped.

Stay strong and never admit to crying to females.

It's not so much as to what women are attracted to, but what they do. you shouldn't have more of a desire to talk about a topic because it is of higher interest to the other person. Talk about what you wanna talk about, or, talk about what they enjoy but emphasize how it is relevant to YOU (so the discussion is centered around YOU vs. them).
