I dislike Ayn Rand because she can't write, and she thinks she's a lot more clever than she actually is. The basic ideas of "objectivism" were already addressed by many more talented authors by the time Ayn Rand got around to them, and these authors actually had something worthwhile to say about contra-utilitarian ethics, whereas Ayn Rand basically just foamed at the vagina dentata.
