It seems to me (in all sincerity) that there is an unusual amount of people on here just for the express purpose of being rude and/or mean.

As a newcomer myself, you are welcome to greet me otherwise, but that has been my impression thus far.

When deciding whether to join the Forum or not, I saw some colorful playfulness tossed back and forth between members already here and decided the majority would be people I would like to know.

So far, I've been proven incorrect about this at every turn.

Needless to say, it is not my intent to stir up strife, and I think we all share at least one common enemy in Intellectual Pimps. I was here to aid in that struggle.

Now, if this Forum be peopled entirely by dimwit teenagers and bitter, fat, balding flame-lovers, then that's fine. I have no place here. But, if there be a few bright diamonds in the rough here that fancy a good and proper debate or simply a brisk expression of ideas, I gladly take my seat among you.

I leave this here at the feet of the Forum council, as it were. Decide your own fate... Philistine, or Plato?
