Yeah I like it too, it's not as good as BoB imo, but it's still damn good.

Meh I prefer it to band of brothers. That was a little too jaded and nobody ever did anything wrong etc. Not enough diarrhea, mud, or real life. Just them all being heroic all the time.

Its very good entertaining and inspiring the tough life of solider. I loved its first season. Al most all the episodes are very nice but its seventh episode is very touching to me when the battle continues against the extremely determined Japanese. Also the terrible acts of barbarism are conducted by both sides and Sledge questions his own moral compass after the loss of a leader. The Marines eventually secure Peleliu with the help of their newly christened 'Sledgehammer' and return to Pavuvu which could changed men forever.
