What if your could rep/neg rep people in real life, and you could physically see it or in some way know someone's rep upon seeing them. Good thing or bad thing?

it would worsen the symptomatic subjectivity of our already limited judging capabilities.

I came into this thread thinking about posting something really catty but Jim kind of made me want to be a better person.

All I know is that sorostitutes would send my rep sky high because for some reason they fucking adore me.

Bad. Cliques, bias etc. and all.
You know, I kinda think that it's BECAUSE of rep (partly, anyway) that people are afraid to say what they really think on this board.
IRL, it'd probably cause more suicides.

Terrible.

When you label people as funny/smart/bitchy whatever, really you're commenting on you're experience with them in certain contexts, rather than their fundamental character.

So some asshole who is awesome at Coffee-shops/Rugby/Pokemon/Drug-Dealing could rack up all his rep hanging out with his Coffee-shops/Rugby/Pokemon/Drug-Dealing friends and really suck when you talked to him on the bus.

Yea, it'd obviously be terrible. Cliques fuck that shit up, although it'd be hilarious to see the one bitch/slut of the group have way less rep than everyone else. Anonymous rep ftw, in that case.

It's usually already obvious which people are popular/high social status and which are not.
