Loved it. I was highly disappointed that he never got his rug back. The movie builds beautifully, and just sorta tapers off at the end which is also a bit disappointing, but many masterpieces have flaws, so whatevah. John Goodman's best role ever. Overall? Great movie. Great classic.

Don't forget the Stranger. Sam Elliott. The whole reason I smoke cigarettes is to hopefully one day have a Sam Elliott voice.

They actually wrote that role for Goodman I believe after him being in Barton Fink.

So many great parts... these get me everytime:

1. The weird emo dude who is at Julianne Moore's place who keeps laughing that soy laugh, at some point the dude is like "What the fuck is up with this guy?".
2. It's down there somewhere, lemme have another look.
3. When the dude is at the porn guys place who gets a call, the dude is trying to be all detective and do the pencil rub over the pad to see what he wrote and he was drawing a big dick.
4. At least they left the Creedence.
