I know I spend way too much. Though I only regularly use about 2% of it.
The great thing is, most can't even tell I have it on.
And my own mother can't tell the difference between when I'm wearing it and when I'm not. Win.
p.s. I think for most chicks, makeup is just to sooth psychological paranoia. Honestly, I have never seen anyone in real life look drastically different without makeup (though I must say, no-one I hang with regularly really pile it on in the first place, probably just our culture). It's prob cos I don't hang with any 40+ (the ones who truly need it). Nothing beats a youthful glow.

yeah i think lip gloss / balm is as gussied up as some women get. in those instances, which are less rare than most men would like to give credit for, men spend more on accessories. shit, how much is a gallon of vinegar to "clean" with compared to a thing of lip gloss?

I just some quick mental addition and I'd say it's a little over $100 for me. I don't really know what the average would be. I don't buy as much make up as I used to, but when I do it's the expensive stuff.

Doesn't bother me too much, as those types of bitches won't really leave the house without makeup, thus, I don't have to see them.

That said, I've been in a relationship with a woman who didn't have any fucking eyebrows and no lips without makeup. It was horrid.

I've been in one with a woman who looked hella old and rough without makeup, not unlike Ned Flanders' Vegas wife whose makeup would peal off like a mask on the pillow when she wakes up.

Now I'm married to a woman who doesn't need makeup at all to be hot. /light at the end of the tunnel

Unless you're talking about the limited addition stuff. You know, the ones with the trademark Galliano (love that guy, there will be no other like him I reckon) fancy packaging. I actually considered buying one or two time. But the fact stands that I only liked it for the packaging, and I'm anti-buying-makeup-for-packaging (might as well go into the damn Dior store and grab a nice pair of shoes or whatever), so yea..

Oh man, I definitely have seen at least 7-12 girls who look completely different without makeup. One that comes most recently to mind is my bf's friend. He's known her for 5-6 years and we bumped into her at the movie theatre. We didn't even recognize her. I thought her bf broke up or was cheating on her with some other girl when he was holding her hand. We were very amused when we realized what the deal was. ... /agreed with nobody that deceiving , just like push up bras if not worse!

I look pretty whorish and lame when I pile on make up, so I keep it what is considered minimal unless for special occasions (Halloween, on stage, etc).

Some chick worked at a lingere store called Fredericks at Hollywood or some shit. She had those on one night and it was like come on now... I already know what your ass looks like you ain't foolin me. Looked nice though.

I rarely wear makeup except when we all go out. I only really go all out with my eye make-up but when I worked at a club, I went all out with it all (except blush) which at first was a lot of fun. The only thing I will just throw on is eye liner if I know I'm going to see someone and want to look a little more put together, I suppose.

Yah Im not a fan of dipping my finger in the gloss and then putting it on my lips...I don't think I even used the gloss.....sometimes it would open up in my purse and all that grimmy stuff that sits in the bottom of ur purse would get stuck to it.....now those lip glosses sit in the bottom of a purse i used 7 seasons ago.....
