Truth. The only time I examine even remotely closely what a chick is wearing is in more casual situations and it's something fairly obvious (usually designer patterned jeans). Geez. I about choked a few months ago when I spent $50 on two pairs of stilletos (one to go with my interview suit and a pair of red ones cuz I liked them). I'm not a big fan of spending money on shoes.

But for xmas I asked my mother for a pair of REALLY GOOD, really comfy shoes for when I'm in medical school and I have to do rotations and am on my feet all the time. I'm not positive but I think I'm gonna get these:

They run like $250 but they're supposed to be super comfortable, great for your back and knees (I have lower back problems so I need this), and really great for the work-out it gives your butt and thighs once you get used to it.

I've gotta find a place that sells them and try them on first though.
